Supporting Sustainable Business in the Great Lakes Bay

We promote business practices that advance climate leadership, social justice and the creation of a circular economy

Celebrating Local Innovation and Practice

Michigan Sustainable Business Forum elevates and promotes sustainable business in Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland and Saginaw Counties.  Among other efforts, we are currently hosting educational and networking events in the region, and working to accelerate support for local companies on key issues such as food waste reduction, electrification, sustainable materials management, and green stormwater infrastructure, while supporting community sustainability planning and local access to state and federal sustainability initiatives and incentive programs.

MiSBF works to support the Great Lakes Bay region by:

  • Creating a collaborative network of local professionals, businesses and institutions.
  • Educating local businesses, institutions and the community on ways to address climate change.
  • Promoting justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in local businesses and the community.
  • Advocating for improvements in recycling practice and infrastructure, and investment toward the creation of a circular economy.
  • Protecting our local water resources.
