The Michigan Campus Sustainability Collective is working to elevate and promote sustainability practices on the state’s campuses, and to celebrate and encourage its inclusion in curriculum. We are collaborating to influence and educate future generations on sustainability and sustainable business. A program of Michigan Sustainable Business Forum, the collective is open to all Michigan colleges and universities.
Our Objectives:
- Promote the discussion of campus sustainability and best practices for colleges and universities.
- Create a community of practice for student and faculty sustainability practitioners.
- Utilize collaboration as a combined voice to speak for higher education in Michigan.
- Connect college and university stakeholders to resources, vendors, and information related to the use of campus sustainability, facilitating peer-to-peer learning and continuing education.

Michigan Sustainable Business Forum provides opportunities and education for students from across the state of Michigan. If you are interested in getting more involved, MiSBF offers events in various regions of the state for educational and networking opportunities, and students are encouraged to get involved! Informational webinars highlighting various sustainability concepts are also offered on a monthly basis and are available to all. You can find out more about our in-person events and free webinars here. Students that attend MiSBF member colleges and universities have access to sign up for a free professional membership with the Forum. Membership includes a professional member profile on misbf.org, discounts on in-person events, access to members-only events and field trips, and network building support from MiSBF staff. Students who attend a college or university that is not already a MiSBF member can contact rspickler@misbf.org for more information.
