Recycle Ann Arbor is a nonprofit zero-waste organization recognized nationally as a leader in mission-based recycling programs. Its mission is to develop and operate innovative reuse, recycling, and zero-waste programs that improve the environmental quality of the community. For nearly five decades, Recycle Ann Arbor has pioneered a model of locally controlled, community-based, authentic recycling in Ann Arbor. Programs include the Drop-off Station for hard-to-recycle materials, the Recovery Yard for recycling construction and demolition debris, long-term collection contracts for curbside and multifamily recycling, and a state-of-the-art zero waste MRF for the processing of recyclables.
