Michigan Sustainable Business Forum to Honor Sustainability Leaders at 11th Annual Triple Bottom Line Bash

Grand Rapids, MI – October 4, 2024 – Michigan Sustainable Business Forum (MiSBF) is proud to announce the 11th Annual Triple Bottom Line Bash, set for October 23, 2024. The event will celebrate the accomplishments of Michigan’s sustainability champions, with special recognition for this year’s Sustainable Business of the Year and Hall of Fame inductees—individuals and organizations that are setting the benchmark for environmental stewardship, social impact, and business leadership.

The Sustainable Business of the Year Award honors a Michigan-based organization that has demonstrated outstanding leadership in sustainability, advancing climate action, social equity, and the circular economy through innovative practices and measurable results. This year’s award recipients have been at the forefront of sustainable business practices, creating a model for other organizations to follow. The 2024 Sustainable Businesses of the Year award goes to: 

• Community Action House
• La Casa de la Cobija
• Mercantile Bank
• Perrigo
• Plaster Creek Stewards
• Schupan

In addition to this prestigious award, the Michigan Sustainable Business Hall of Fame will welcome its newest inductees. This honor recognizes individuals who have made significant, lasting contributions to the sustainability movement in Michigan. These leaders, through their careers and personal efforts, have pioneered initiatives that shape the future of sustainable business and community leadership. The 2024 Sustainable Hall of Fame award goes to: 

• William Foley
• Jim Justice
• Kris Spaulding

The Triple Bottom Line Bash event will feature the award ceremony, networking opportunities, and a 30th-anniversary celebration of the contributions that have been made to Michigan’s sustainability landscape. Attendees will enjoy a locally sourced dinner and beverages, all while supporting MiSBF’s ongoing statewide programming.
