Salon Talk: Climate Solutions at Home, Work, on the Road, and in the Chair

Join Michigan Sustainable Business Forum and Salonvironment for a discussion on sustainable business and sustainability, including opportunities created by the Inflation Reduction Act, sustainability in the beauty industry, and how industries are working to use their power to help offset the effects of climate change.

The Inflation Reduction Act, Mi Healthy Climate Plan and other private and public sector investments will incentivize clean energy, create new jobs, and grow our economy. The discussion will highlight how people can take advantage of these resources to help transition to electric cars, solar power, or improve energy efficiency, as well as promote more sustainable food systems, improve recycling, and protect its natural resources.

We will also be discussing how sustainability strengthens communities including where it starts and how it benefits our local economy. We’ll discuss the power that small businesses have in changing the norm plus, an inside look at how it’s shifting the beauty industry, starting in your local salons.
