How Corporate Partners Can Help Strengthen Food Rescue Capacity and Keep Surplus Food Out of Landfills

Michigan Sustainable Business Forum is hosting a webinar to explore the role corporate partners can play in strengthening food rescue infrastructure. Across Michigan and beyond, food rescue organizations are working to move safe, surplus food quickly and efficiently into communities, but many face persistent capacity challenges related to cold storage, transportation, staffing, logistics, and coordination.

This panel will highlight companies making meaningful investments to move surplus food into communities rather than landfills. Speakers will share how corporate giving, equipment donation, logistics expertise, employee engagement, and strategic partnerships can help build the infrastructure needed to scale food rescue and increase access to nutritious food.
