At the same time, many businesses and food recovery organizations continue to face practical barriers to participating in food donation, from operational constraints and liability concerns to coordination challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Join Michigan Sustainable Business Forum and local collaborators for a focused, interactive convening designed specifically for small food businesses, local leaders, and the organizations interested in increasing food donation across Southwest and South Michigan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This session is open to anyone connected to the food system, whether you are already donating or reducing food, exploring how to get started, or looking for practical ways to strengthen existing efforts. The session will combine peer learning, regional discussion, and practical tools to help translate Michigan\u2019s statewide food donation goals into realistic local action.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los participantes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify region-specific barriers, capacity needs, and investment opportunities\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage directly with food rescue organizations to understand available pathways and partnerships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explore practical solutions, including operational adjustments and coordination improvements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn about Michigan\u2019s Double Food Donation Campaign and the Food Donation &amp; Recovery Guide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide direct input to shape tools, policy conversations, and future programming<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This event is designed as a listening session and working forum.
