Forum Seeks Members for Movement Building Committee in Mid-Michigan
abril 27, 2026
Michigan Sustainable Business Forum is seeking sustainability practitioners and relevant stakeholders to support its movement building initiatives in the Great Lakes Bay and Heartland regions of Mid-Michigan.
The new Leadership Committee will seek to accelerate the work begun by the Great Lakes Bay Zero Waste Consortium and continued through the Forum’s prior collaboration with the Great Lakes Bay Regional Sustainability Pledge. It will support the development of educational and networking programming in the region, while serving as the hub for a local community of practice for sustainability practitioners, environmental professionals, and other business and community leaders.
The Forum will introduce the committee at an open house this spring featuring an informal state of sustainable business discussion and solicit nominations for the 2026 Michigan Sustainable Business of the Year Awards and Michigan Sustainable Business Hall of Fame.
Interested individuals need not be current members to join, but should have some current involvement in the sustainability or sustainable business movement.
