Haworth’s Carbon Journey and CSR Commitments
West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum will meet on Monday, July 24 at Haworth to learn about the company’s new climate goals and sustainability commitments.
This spring the furniture manufacturer announced its decarbonization strategy as part of its 2025 Commitments, a set of goals that will further guide it to become a sustainable corporation, with a focus on community, circular economy and operational performance. The commitments include the adoption of new “science-based targets” for greenhouse gas reduction.
Global Design, Innovation, and Sustainability Director Dominic Daunter will share how the company identified the scope of the SBTi goals, managed the data collection process and road blocks with suppliers and teams, and communicated the goals to internal and external stakeholders.
The program will also include an update on the company’s circular design and materials management initiatives, as well as other CSR initiatives. An optional site tour will be available after the program.
